QQI Level 5 Major Award in Festival Management & Sound Production

Further study options exist, however this programme has a high rate of Graduate progression to directly relevant employment.
Our Festival Management & Sound Production course prepares graduates for work within the festival and event industry. Delivered by industry experts, students are immersed in the areas of festival and event management in state of the art facilities at Sound Training College, Sound Training Productions Studios and The Button Factory in Dublin.
Students will complete work placement at various festivals and events throughout the duration of the course.

Desktop Multimedia and Audio Production
Music Industry Studies
Sound Engineering and Production
Course content is complemented by guest lectures and seminars from Industry Professionals, all contributing to the creative and technical development of the student.

Previous experience within the event industry is desirable though not essential. This course requires a good level of English both oral and written with basic computer skills. Entry is then determined by eligibility and interview.
