Playing a mix of folk, bluegrass, R&B and Jazz, Giddens is one to catch it you have the chance!

Jazz is a bit like Marmite, people usually either love it or hate it, but for those who love it we have a special gig in the Sugar Club! The Christian Scott Quintet are playing as part of their Future Jazz Sessions. Scott and his Quintet who recently released their recording debut ‘Rewind’ which Billboard magazine said was “arguably the most remarkable premiere the genre has seen in the decade.” If Jazz if your cup of tea be sure to grab tickets for it! Wednesday night we have Lindsey Stirling, who is know for her cover of Imagine Dragons track Radioactive, but Lindsey is a successful artist in her own right, she performs choreographed violin performances along with her own classically influenced electronic pop/dance music, she plays at Vicar Street and doors are from 8 PM! Finally, closing out the weekend we have Matt Simons who is known for his track Catch & Release, although you more than likely know the Deepend Remix, but the original is just as good, or check out the acoustic version where Simons performs the song with just a Ukelele and you can really see how he is a very well balanced and talented singer! he plays the Button Factory on Sunday night to close out the week!
