Graduate Interview Series - Phillip Magee

Phillip Magee is a world renowned music producer, STC graduate Phillip, has worked with many international artists during his career. He has been the brains behind some chart toppings songs, and we were delighted to have the opportunity to catch up with him! We got to hear what he has been up to and his opinion of our brand new degree course (BA) Hons in Audio Production & Music Project Management run in collaboration with Dublin Business School!

Focusing on aspects of the music industry that were lacking in other courses, Our BA (Hons) in Audio Production & Music Project Management covers essential areas such as Digital Marketing, Studio Recording, Psychoacoustics Entrepreneurship,  Innovation & Entrepreneurship and many more music & business based modules. The course itself was devised between STC & DBS as we both felt the need for this type of course in the music industry was of most utmost importance. We found there was a lack of information in relation to the business side of things that are contained in the music industry. We are delighted to announce this course as we recently have partnered with DBS on our Sound Engineering & Music Production full-time & part-diploma courses also which directly lead on to this course.

We were very lucky recently to have a chat with STC graduate Phillip Magee (Kodaline, The Script, Myles Kane) about his opinions of the course.
