Janine Deegan

Janine Deegan is an Irish born singer, songwriter, composer, pianist, and multi- instrumentalist based in Dublin. Janine spent many years through her background in education exploring vocal styles and techniques from Folk to Classical, Jazz, RnB, Soul, Pop and Rock. Her approach to teaching is holistic, drawing on a strong background in vocal pedagogy and music education, and based on more than 10 years of experience in teaching and performing. Janine has been passionate about music from an early age and has completed an honours degree from BIMM school of music specialising in Songwriting. She recently furthered her education and completed a masters with NCI college of Ireland expanding her teaching knowledge. In the last 5 years Janine has taught students of every level of style, and age, helping them find their real voice and confidence to enjoy and not fear the stage and currently works with BCFE college teaching Performance, Music Industry and Professional development for artists. She is a teacher who is very passionate about her craft and aims to help singers and pianists reach their full potential. Her classes are individualised to each students wants and needs. Janine has helped students find their own sound & strengthen their musical abilities and to become more confident in performances. Janine is an experienced performer and composer and is active in the Irish music scene.
