Foster The People – Sacred Hearts Club

Back with their third album, Foster The People will forever be known as the ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ band which is certainly not a bad thing! This album differs since they’re only a 3-piece now and this album features more ambitious pop.

Albin Lee Meldau – Bloodshot

A single that appeared on his first EP release Lovers, Bloodshot continues in the same vein brooding melancholic pop accompanied with great emotion vocally makes an all around impressive 5-track EP.

Maya Jane Coles – Weak/Werk

Some new tunes from one of the leading ladies in House. Weak is a bit more on the experimental side but she keeps it together and still maintains her roots in Werk!

The War On Drugs – Strangest Things

6 minute plus epic, Kurt Vile and co. return with a new single and that you would be forgiven for thinking it was Bob Dylan providing the vocals! Their fourth album A Deeper Understanding is due out later this year.

Damian Marley – Stony Hill

Keeping the family legacy alive with this album, his first solo album in 10 years, he sticks to what he knows best, mellow out jams with elements of dancehall thrown in.
