New Music Monday – 29th May 2017

James Vincent McMorrow – True Care

JVM is back with his new album, and it does not disappoint. His fourth album to date, you can see how he has developed and grown as a musician but still keeps all the essentials to release a chart-topping album. Check Out : Constellations, Glad It’s Raining & True Care.

Dave – 100M’s

London based grime artist Dave isn’t messing about with this track. Following on the footsteps on Skepta & Stormzy, 100M’s contains more raw & minimal production which makes for a brilliant comeback track after previously working with Drake & J-Hus.

Max Cooper – Chromos

The latest EP from Minimal Techno expert Max Cooper. Known for his experiments with visuals, science and music, this EP almost feels like if a scientific experiment could create sound, this would be the end product. Sonically amazing with beautiful textures and soundscapes.

The Amazons – The Amazons

Reading-based rock band The Amazons only formed in 2014 and have been touring throughout the past three years. This, their debut release is a cracking opener for a band who are still finding their feet in the industry, a good old fashion rock ‘n’ roll album! Check out : Black Magic, In My Mind & Raindrops.

Novo Amor – Bathing Beach

Novo Amor better known as Ali Lacey, is a Welsh multi-instrumentalist, producer & songwriter. “Bathing Beach” is his second EP release and is beautifully soft and melancholic. The title for the EPĀ Bathing Beach, seems fitting as while you listen you can picture yourself on a tranquil and peaceful beach resort taking in the waves.
