Foster The People – Sacred Hearts Club Back with their third album, Foster The People will forever be known as the ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ band which is certainly not a bad thing! This album differs since they’re only a 3-piece now and this album features more ambitious pop.    Albin Lee Meldau – Bloodshot A single that appeared on his first EP release Lovers, Bloodshot continues in the same vein brooding melancholic pop accompanied with great emotion vocally makes an all around impressive 5-track EP.   Maya Jane Coles – Weak/Werk Some new tunes from one of the leading ladies

Dublin Gig Guide : 24th – 30th July 2017

We’re back with another Dublin Gig Guide! Lots of great stuff going on this week, although we must start this off with a sad note. Chester Bennington of the nu-metal rock band Linkin Park was found dead at his home yesterday evening, our thoughts and prayers and with his family and friends. Chester was one of the leading vocalists of his time and was the voice of a generation for many. He will be sorely missed. 🙁 Let’s get on with this weeks gigs! Two great shows kicking us off on Tuesday night! First off we have Kate Nash performing

Once has been mentioned a number of times before in our Gig Guide but we really can’t recommend it enough! Sunn O))) are a hard one to categorise as they dabble in experimental, doom, drone

Dizzee Rascal – Wot You Gonna Do? Dizzee is back with another single from his upcoming album ‘Raskit’. This is confirmation that the old Rascal we all knew and loved is back, no more radio-friendly collabs with popular DJ’s this is Dizzee at his best. Four Tet – Two Thousand and Seventeen Four Tet announced his return to music with this single. Without announcing a new album or anything he waited until he got a response from the new track, to which he later announced he has loads of new music on the way with an album coming this year! Moody

Tyler, The Creator – Who Dat Boy / 911 Rap genius Tyler, The Creator is back with his first release since 2015’s “Cherry Bomb”. ” Who Dat Boy” features A$AP Rocky as they trade bars in an energetic track. 911/Mr. Lonely is the other track on this release, however it takes a low-key and mellower look at relationships and all that, with help from Frank Ocean, Steve Lacy and Anna Of The North. Lucy Rose – Moirai With her new album ‘Somethings Changing’ due for release on the 14th July, Lucy Rose has unleashed ‘Moirai’. Apparently inspired after a conversation

Dublin Gig Guide : 3rd – 9th July 2017

Dublin Gig Guide : 3rd – 9th July 2017 Last week was a big one regarding festivals with Glastonbury taking place over in England! It really was a spectacle, as Ed Sheeran amazed a packed out crowd with his one man performance that included people being very confused by him using a loop pedal.  Radiohead, The XX, The National, even the leader of the Labour Party in the UK, Jeremy Corbyn was on-stage for a speech! It was a fantastic weekend all around. Over on our shores however we had Sea Sessions up in one of the best surfing spots in
