Sound Training College has been setting standards in audio education for over 30 years. We offer both full and part time accredited courses in Sound Engineering, Music Production, and Live Sound, Lighting & Stage Production. Sound Training College also delivers a Degree in Creative Music Production with IADT, another degree with DBS in Audio Production & Music Project Management, a variety of other short courses including Intro to DJ & Production and many others.

The College incorporates an impressive list of facilities, which include Sun Studios, Sound Training Productions, The Button Factory Venue and Temple Lane Rehearsal Studios. Our computer lab facilities are also of the highest standard, where each student is assigned their own Apple iMac workstation, fully equipped with the latest industry software. Our Audio Production and Music Project Management

Our Audio Production and Music Project Management course offers students the unique opportunity to develop their skills in the field through industry-based, professional projects. While working on these real-world projects, students engage in both advanced audio production and music project management, greatly broadening employability. These projects are an integral part of Sound Training Productions: a recording and production company (led by graduates and students) which offers unrivalled, unique opportunities and links with key contacts in the music industry.

This focus on ‘real world’ projects and professional development is key to success, paving the way for graduates to lead the music industry both nationally and internationally.

A fantastic night of art & music, the likes of which our Audio Production students are involved while studying in STC. From organising the venue, artists and recording of the event, everything was handled by our students. We can't wait to see what they come up with for the next one!

Our BA (Hons) in Creative Music Production & Practice provides students with the an option of two pathways. The Creative Music Production pathway focuses on the integration of core sound engineering & audio creation skills. Students explore the cutting edge of the field through practical projects in professional facilities.
Creative Music Practice allows instrumental performers to develop their musicianship, while also focusing on the creation of music and audio.

They regularly provide artwork just outside the STC main campus building and around Dublin so we we were delighted to get them in to brighten up the STC space!
