My Lovely EP is a charity album featuring 7 tracks, all related to the subject of horses and animal welfare, which the charity My Lovely Horse Shelter seeks to promote. Neil Hannon has collaborated with Duke Special on a brand new track written especially for the album. The album also features some excellent tracks by the likes of We Cut Corners, Paddy Hanna and No Monster Club along with many others. It will be available to purchase from May 4th.
The Launch
The album will be launched on May 4th in the Button Factory.
Neil Hannon and Duke Special will be performing on the night along with Paddy Hanna, No Monster Club, The Late David Turpin, Gar Cox and special guests. It's a chance for our students to celebrate all the hard work they've put into recording and promoting the album, and a chance to raise money for a great cause in the My Lovely Horse Rescue.

The Students’ Involvement
The second year Sound Training College students were involved in every aspect of the production of the charity album, from the very start organising bands and a charity, right through the recording and mixing process to the PR and launch and everything in between. Every year the students have the chance to get involved in a fantastic project like this and record a charity album. It's a great chance to really take ownership of a project and understand how the industry works, and is many student's favourite part of the course.
