The Album

My Lovely EP is a charity album featuring 7 tracks, related to horses and animals as well as featuring a brand new original by Duke Special & Neil Hannon recorded especially for the EP. The album features some great performances both individual and collaborative, from the likes of We Cut Corners, Paddy Hanna, the Late David Turpin and many more. There's a great diversity of artists and styles on the album, with well chosen and recorded tracks making for an excellent listen.

The second year Sound Training College students were involved in every aspect of the production of the charity album, working tirelessly with the charity to choose bands and decide on a concept, right through the recording and mixing process to the PR and launch and everything in between. They raised money and awareness for My Lovely Horse Rescue, Every year the students have the chance to get involved in a fantastic project like this and record a charity album. It's a great chance to really take ownership of a project and understand how the industry works, and is a favourite part of the course for many students.
