Grouse Lodge
In July 2002 Grouse Lodge in Co. Westmeath was launched to become Irelands first International Residential Recording Studio. Located near the picturesque village of Rosemount in county Westmeath, just off the main Dublin/Galway road and just an hour from Dublin city and Airport, “Grouse Lodge” georgian estate has undergone a total restoration/ transformation in which the studio complex is housed. Our students get the unique opportunity to partake in work experience in Grouse Lodge, where they experience working on professional recording sessions.
Temple Lane Recording Studios
Temple Lane Recording Studios has been at the centre of Irish music since 1984. From Whipping Boy to Rihanna, a huge range of acts have recorded some of the most important songs and albums of the last 30 years here. The studio is also considered a home of independent Irish music and Irish bands. At Temple Lane Studios, our students get the chance to take part in sessions with both established bands and up and coming bands alike during their work experience.
Temple Lane Rehearsals
After 10 years in its new home it has established itself as Dublin's premier rehearsal space, due to its great value, excellent service, friendly staff and over 20 years in the business. Temple Lane Studios are happy to cater for bands at all levels of development. We have had some very famous clients, such as Ray Lamontagne, Jimmy Chamberlain (Smashing Pumpkins) Def Leppard, Paul Cook (Sex Pistols), Dinosaur Jr, Edwin Collins,Van Morrison, The Corrs, The Thrills, The Script and The Frames, but young bands get the same friendly treatment that well established acts receive.
Solas
SOLAS has been established to develop and give strategic direction to the Further Education and Training Sector in Ireland. It is responsible for funding, planning and co-ordinating a wide range of training and further education programmes and has a mandate to ensure the provision of 21st century high-quality programmes to jobseekers and other learners.
